I love food. It’s pivotal to my everyday life; shopping for it, cooking it and eating it, which, luckily, is what Cooking in the Nook is all about. As time has passed, I have gathered more knowledge on food, and through birthdays and house moves, a three-year Creative Writing degree and finding the love of my life, my taste has adapted. Eating well (meaning an abundant amount of fresh, organic produce from all of the food groups) is a way of life for me.
I recently spent six months touring the world and wrote several posts about my eating adventures. These can be viewed from January 2016 to July 2016. Although I am currently in between houses, I cook as often as I can and post twice a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays.
Whatever emerges from the kitchen is always gluten-free, occasionally successful, sometimes vegetarian, often not, partially sweet and hopefully delicious. I have no training beyond my own experimentation, but a mountainous amount of passion for the subject. I do hope that comes across in my writing and I would love to hear your thoughts about it too.
